VIP airliners and commercial airliners are the largest aircraft available for private charter. Both are based on the same airframes used in scheduled airline service, but they do very different jobs. Commercial airliners chartered in their original airline configuration carry 100 to 400 passengers in standard airline seating (economy, premium, business). They are used when the requirement is moving a large group efficiently, not when the requirement is cabin transformation.
